Learn the laws of physics through simple physical toys

Location: Bevkov Square / Bevkov trg (in front of the Nova Gorica Centre of Culture), Nova Gorica.

Time: 9.30-20.30

The researchers of the Center for Astophysics and Cosmology, employed also at the School of Science of the University of Nova Gorica will demonstrate to you the laws of physics with the help of simple, home-made »phisical toys«. You will be able to learn how the buoyancy in liquids works and observe the hovering CD with a baloon. By observing the filtering of air with a pump you will be able to learn what kind of particles are present in the air itself. The »toy« with iron filings and a magnet will serve to demonstrate the magnetic forces.
